I always love stats. Adult is always the biggest piece of the pie, but I wonder if its down from previous years due to market demand and children's books struggling more in recent years.

I did my part!
Pie charts. One shows 7.7% middle grade, 23.8% young adult, and 68.5% adult. The other shows small slivers of romance, horror, contemporary, and book club; then 8.8% mystery, 13.2% romance, 16.8% science fiction, and 38.1% fantasy

I knew you'd be a popular one, but in the end I had to go with it. Also, I love charts. I'm making one on my side with all the user in our Discord to see who they subbed to so we can guess when 10queries comes around.
Its so much funnier and more interesting than i remember, im going to add in a little more horror too when i revise it.
Also, tip, do NOT look at your manuscript after you sub as you WILL find errors. It's just a fact of life.

I am rereading a WIP i for some reason set aside 2 years ago based on Incan mythology, and thinking, maybe ill shine it up and actually query it.
It is done. And thanks to my team of (insanely awesome/talented, no idea how i lucked out) betas, polished.
I have the uncanny ability to suck out the fun and sum up the basic points of plot and character arc. I attribute it to a lifetime of impatience and wanting to know the bottom line when people are speaking.
