Did you ever notice that Paul Simon has been singing for a half-century that there must be 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, but he only ever articulates 5? (And I think Iβm being generous in counting βYou donβt need to be coy, Royβ as one of those 5).
Iβm a fan of many things. But lately Iβve realized that thereβs something Iβm not a fan of: fandoms.
Big victory for the Gunners in north London today! And big fun for us Gooners in our local pub on the other side of the pond!
Awesome sauce!
I was grocery shopping and they were playing Strangelove by Depeche Mode. Naturally, one wants to purchase zucchini with an overt BDSM song playing over the loudspeaker, right?
Iβm envious of poets. Seriously, they share a story or experience by giving some images and pretty words, and they donβt have to follow any rules unless they choose to. Other literary genres require proper punctuation and plots and character development, but poets are like: a bird at midnight π
Wil Wheaton! Stephen King! Two great tastes that taste great together.

My heart's in the Highlands, my heart is not here,
My heart's in the Highlands, a-chasing the deer;
Chasing the wild-deer, and following the roe,
My heart's in the Highlands, wherever I go.

I loved that show as a kid. It terrified me! But I loved it.
Kristi Noem is a bird-legged ho. That ho has got to go!
This! We need a brawler! You donβt bring a strongly-worded letter to a gun fight, for fuckβs sake.
This is spot on!

Happy Hogmanay, folks!
Yup. Iβm so tired of that whiny bitch, and even more tired of his cult of followers.
I loved this album when it was released, and I still do.
Dozens (hundreds?) of grackles congregating in the woods, an amazing experience for the ears and eyes.

This is my favorite Winter Solstice carol. It fills me with hope in these dark times.
Me too, Wil. Me, too!
Bless your heart! I canβt listen to a single second of it.
I think about that a lot.
I just watched Stand By Me for the first time in years. Please excuse me while I curl up in the fetal position and bawl my eyes out.
Weβre here for you, Wil. The community youβve cultivated on the interwebs over the years will always have your back.
I am moved to tears reading this, Wil. π
TNG was still just finding its legs, but this episode was fabulous then and itβs fabulous now!
I cringed through the first few episodes of Lower Decks and then didnβt watch for a while. I went back later and realized that if I pulled the stick out of my ass and stopped taking Trek so very seriously, it was quite entertaining and funny.
Happy Krampusnacht to all who celebrate!
