I had a great day thrifting with my daughter! I found a brand new Lilly Pulitzer shirt for $3 and lots of frames for doing resin art for my husband. Buying used is completely where it's at!!

I'm a blue girl in a red state. I just want peace, happiness, safety, healthcare, acceptance and love for all. I don't think that's too much to hope for! I love cats, theatre, and my husband, kids and grandkids! I swear WAY too much!

I told my husband last week that "terrorist" attacks are going to start happening to drum up support for the war. I'm most concerned about what might happen close to the midterms. It seems like a 9/11 scale attack could be a reason for him to cancel the elections.
This fucker looks like pure hate and misery in human form.
I would gladly suffer with him as president again.
I'm tempted to make the deal!
My neighbor, who has bad taste in food, wanted to go there for her birthday. It was just as I had been warned.
I appreciate a smaller portion. I hate to waste food and, often, when we go out to eat we're going somewhere besides home afterwards.
It's just end time pranks from God.
LOL! I did, too!
If you're a theatre fan, the National Theatre (UK) is streaming The Importance of Being Ernest until March 18, on YouTube.https://www.youtube.com/@NationalTheatre
I lost my cat of 17 years last June and I still bend down to keep him from getting out when I open the front door. My husband and I both sense his presence daily. I get it. I'm sorry you lost your buddy.
Same here!
Oh, that precious kitty!
The only promises Trump has kept are cruelty and hard times.
Would that murder have been a threat to America, or a favor?
Yes, it is. I hate that prick and all of his minions. There's not a week that goes by that he doesn't do something to harm the American people.๐ข
Unfortunately, not anymore than any of the other ones I've bought. โค๏ธ
Oh, God, Rosey, I have that book somewhere in my collection of anxiety books. I've found myself Uber anxious, too, in spite of all of the meds I take to keep it under control.
I know why were stressed; we're looking for control in a country of chaos.
It's been super nice the past few days in my neck of the woods. You have to take advantage of it while you can!
OMG! I just said the same thing to my husband last night. Although, I think it's going to be for the sake of canceling the midterms. Whatever it is, it's going to be close to the midterms.
Yes, or a used car!
He's the poster boy for douchebags. Every photo of him is incredibly unflattering as far as I'm concerned.
Yes! I did! I loved that one, too. My daughters and I would watch it together.
It's so heavy, I had to turn it to my comfort show on BBC to get my mind off of it. I love all of the A & E medical shows on the BBC.
Oh, that would be me, as well. That's ridiculous!
I'm doing well, just finished watching Nuremberg on Netflix. It was very well-acted and written, but super difficult to watch.
Yes, it is. It's actually 78 here in my corner of WV, so I've spent a good part of the day outside. Next week at this time it's supposed to snow here! I hope you're feeling so much better.
No problem! โค๏ธI also get what you're saying about self care in the other comments. I struggle with that, too. My version of self-care is literally touching grass. I have to be outside, with bare feet on the ground, breathing fresh air.
Be kind to yourself today. It's REALLY healthy that you know your limits. You do a lot for the cause and you don't have to be perfect. โค๏ธ
My family doctor is awesome. I had a checkup last week and knowing that I spend a large amount of time in SC, she suggested that I get a measles titer to check for immunity. Turns out I don't have measles immunity, even though I was vaccinated as a child. I'm getting a vaccine in the morning!
