I had a great day thrifting with my daughter! I found a brand new Lilly Pulitzer shirt for $3 and lots of frames for doing resin art for my husband. Buying used is completely where it's at!!
I told my husband last week that "terrorist" attacks are going to start happening to drum up support for the war. I'm most concerned about what might happen close to the midterms. It seems like a 9/11 scale attack could be a reason for him to cancel the elections.

My neighbor, who has bad taste in food, wanted to go there for her birthday. It was just as I had been warned.
I appreciate a smaller portion. I hate to waste food and, often, when we go out to eat we're going somewhere besides home afterwards.

I lost my cat of 17 years last June and I still bend down to keep him from getting out when I open the front door. My husband and I both sense his presence daily. I get it. I'm sorry you lost your buddy.

No problem! ❤️I also get what you're saying about self care in the other comments. I struggle with that, too. My version of self-care is literally touching grass. I have to be outside, with bare feet on the ground, breathing fresh air.

My family doctor is awesome. I had a checkup last week and knowing that I spend a large amount of time in SC, she suggested that I get a measles titer to check for immunity. Turns out I don't have measles immunity, even though I was vaccinated as a child. I'm getting a vaccine in the morning!
