I think instead we should focus on elevating the ones who are actually doing something, rather than the widespread "Dems (universal) are useless" message that we are spreading. E courage the progressive leaders of the party as examples instead of using the complicity ones as the face of the party.

I'm angry as hell, but I've seen way more anti-Dem action from fellow Libs in the last 2 years than I have anti-GOP. Some things are obvious, but there's a lot of blanket statements that ignore Walz, AOC and others.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

Anyways I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way. I do agree with you, I'm just afraid of how anti-Dem messaging is working against us the way it did the last election. After all, MAGA will vote GOP regardless, so I just don't want us to shoot ourselves in the foot again.

And I only say this because sadly nuance and details like this only help MAGA by "both sides"-ing the playing field and making liberals less likely to vote, which is exactly how they won 2025

And I agree, I hate that they did that. I want to be clear that I'm not supporting these actions, but I think it's important to not categorize these as a universal Dem action, as well as see how many of these are running in districts where they have a real danger of losing to a maga candidate.

I agree with your first part, but I'm not sure the Dems can realistically do anything right now aside from what Walz is doing. They literally have no federal power since we voted them out of everything.
