We need the Democratic Party to keep moving with this momentum and not get distracted by emphasizing fringe policies that only affect a tiny number of people. The right jumps on this and makes these fringe ideas the point (whether it be transgender issues, etc.).

I have to admit that I've been surprised at the level of hate at AI LLMs.
There is finally a tool that allows those without access to an advanced education to self learn, anywhere , anytime. To get answers to questions, (even if sometimes wrong) , that they would otherwise never have access to
When I talk to kids today and they ask me what I would do if I were 12 today, my answer is always the same, read books and learn how to use AI in every way shape and form you can. It is a living library that gives you responses and can help no matter who you are or where you live.
The unfair responses you have received on this thread after simply advocating for the use of open source LLM's that are controlled by nobody and everyone can freely use is a real head-scratcher...
I would say more, but people here already covered most of it. I will only say that I have a hard time understanding why you'd think open source LLM's that anyone can use, customize and enhance are a meal ticket for anybody. I guess we should jsut let OpenAI have all the money, right?

Good morning! I have long been a fan from afar of your efforts. I am building something that can be a great tool in your efforts to educate that is owned by no one person. It is like TikTok built built on BlueSky (AT protocol), so it can reach everyone with live or recorded video.
Like others say here, DeepSeek the model cannot be banned. It’s open source. I have a version of it running on my AI platform self hosted. DeepSeek the service is also highly unlikely to be banned as they have a tight affiliation with NVidia (they run on their new servers).
@deepseek.bsky.social is almost irresistible because their quality is superb, but their transparency is somewhat worse than what is said here. They explicitly say that they WILL use your data for training which should be heresy. But agents need tokens…
