Using Duolingo for an upcoming trip to Italy. I speak Spanish. I wouldn’t say I’m completely fluent but have a working knowledge of the language. Seeing that Italian is also a Romance language, I mistakingly thought knowing Spanish would make learning Italian much easier, but the opposite is true
