EU Commission spokesperson on tech. The difficulty here is that the Commission sent X a provisional finding of breach of the Digital Services Act 16 months ago, and has done nothing since. So why take this expression of concern seriously?
My 2 quick takes: 1/ Awkward & unsustainable for ECtHR to simultaneously demand rapid remedial action and then repeatedly adjourn; 2/ EU has unlocked EU funding last year yet ECtHR confirms systematic rule of law issues not addressed. Who’s correct? hint: Strasbourg based institution
