I juggle podcasts and Libby all the time now. I sometimes purposefully choose to listen to rather than read a certain book because a reader can really make the language pop. Wishing your brother lots of good hours of listening!

EPIC: Elvis Presley In Concert is the Elvis reboot we need. Elvis’ self-destructive behavior is well-documented, and it’s overshadowed the legacy of his amazing talent. Baz Luhrman, no stranger to Elvis’ excesses, now rightly restores for us Elvis the singer. I, for one, am extremely grateful.

This was a very interesting piece. I always kind of took it in stride that these were fantasy type jobs (becuz studio execs don’t understand real jobs) but hearing you talk of the influence the films had on a generation of young women was something I never considered. Thanks for that!

I disagree as experience comes with age. I don’t want the country being run by someone like Big Balls. I would like better education, shorter campaign windows, mandatory registration & weekend Election Day and campaign finance limits; all would all help achieve at least some of what you want.

I worked with her on an animated project and she was 💯 pro. Had to record a song, had a cold, was nervous (we even had a double record it as backup). She came in and f’ing nailed it, cold be damned. I will be sad for this loss forever.
