Today, on behalf of MoveUP and USW 2009, MoveUP President Annette Toth presented Scott Lunny, president of The Union Protein Project, with a cheque for $55,000 as the charitable proceeds from the 2025 Bob Derby Memorial Charity Golf Tournament.
Β MoveUP represents workers who work in the public transit industry, as well as members who work as taxi dispatchers.
Annette also called the taxi industry as an important partner, but not a replacement, for HandyDART services and this is an important partnership to continue with HandyDART back in public control.
