it caught my eye as a narrative tactics game since tactic mechanics are pretty hard to build and even harder to design in an interesting way

I remember stumbling across the twitter page when development first started, it's so cool to see the game's finally out and it looks beautiful! will definitely check it out and congrats on the thesis!

YEA i think 999 is especially mindblowing when were young and never found a game with that type of gimmick, ds games have more room for creativity. although i know one friend who went ?? the last puzzle is stupid 😂 but thats bc they dont like numbers like that

yea i do think its a cool niche to have slice of life games with a somber tone... i miss it... the ost was great too... nowadays i pray for another franchise to crack into the niche 🙏🙏

ds is peak for the mechanic, but I have a soft spot for the voice acting they added to the remake

I really honed in on persona3 like if that's part of the list... JAJSKKDKFFK good taste!

i dont mind colorful/whimsical, i also played the mobile game for a spell but its hard to differentiate the series from like every other jrpg if they head that direction

and now they make the atelier games "open world" 😭 we already have so many...

YEAH... the end of the world vibes really got to me... also hidaris art style 🤤 the more modern atelier games leaned heavier on fanservice designs that I didn't like as much

POINTING... wow always happy to see fans more of peak taste, I really loved the dusk trilogy and then it went downhill...
