I'm a good art director, expert pixel artist, and although I prefer to do art, I can also make entire games from start to finish if necessary, as pictured. Not the greatest coder, but I get the job done (like Chapell Roan I guess).

This feels like a helpful primer for understanding AI in general. It makes programmers more efficient on the front end because they can generate more code. But it makes them less efficient afterwards because it vastly increases the amount of time they spend tweaking and fixing bugs.
Protip: for any cis people who don’t already know, the phrase “this person” is an extremely obvious way transhobes often degender and/or misgender trans people.
you should generally not use that phrasing. especially if you are criticizing someone who happens to be trans.

A screenshot of Fortnite's Hasbro's UNO gameplay mode. Five random characters with stock Fortnite skins (and me) sit around a table where a giant card representing the current card is in the middle. It is garishly lit, presumably to help readability, but the giant fullbright texture looks totally out of place next to a bunch of ambiently lit characters and the room itself. Additionally every character has a name above their head EXCEPT for the Mr. Peely whose name is covered by a "YOUR TURN" indicator. My hand is five similarly fullbright cards that look totally out of place. The UI seems designed maybe for mobile, with big yellow buttons to move the selection of cards left or right and another big yellow button for playing the selected card. There's also a skeuomorphic red button that says UNO that's greyed out since I have five cards. There's also a "Loadout Deck" button because you can use gimmick fortnite cards as part of this mode. There's also an "E - Hold to Dismount" instruction as if I am riding a car or horse, but I think that's just because they had to use existing logic to get you to sit at the table. Still, it feels slapdash and very much trying to fit a round peg into a square hole.
Mattel has released an official Uno mode for Fortnite, and I absolutely have to ask: why?
It looks terrible, and frankly it reflects poorly on both Epic and Mattel - Mattel for signing off on this and Epic because it shows the limitations of Fortnite as a platform.
AP is a blast to implement, isn't it! (I also added modding support specifically for it in our engine and it's just nice if your game is designed even just decently well internally)
I was always planning on adding or supporting this, but I didn't expect it to be as easy as it was. So, once the game releases, this should be ready to play!
