That would be correct.
That would be correct.
On Monday I saw Grace Jones take to her throne and mine an orgasm on a stage in St Kilda. Last right Jarvis launched Pulpβs This Is Hardcore from a Bond-like seat, with Vegas showgirls fluttering on the screen behind him. Both deeply sexy shows, not sure what will top them this year!
Data centre boosters like to say their projects, which consume an inordinate amount of power, are actually a "vital cog in the renewable energy transition". Here's why data centres must provide more clean energy than they use. www.crikey.com.au/2026/03/04/a...
Itβs a long list.
Ah! Every now and again I lose track of why I tend to avoid The Atlantic so I am grateful for this reminder.
What I love about Jarvis Cocker is that on the several occasions Iβve spotted him out and about when not performing with famous pop band Pulp heβs always wearing the same sort of outfit. He is on stage as he is off stage. Itβs efficient.
This is clearly a city with an art school
Donated - that man deserves the best of send offs for all the joy he brought people.

He disappeared when I cheerily waved a stool sample at him. For I was dropping off my National Bowel Cancer Screening kit. 2/2
I was minding my own business on the tram checking that had everything I needed in a package to drop off to the local pathology lab. A perhaps slightly tipsy for 10am bloke sat next to me and asked how I was. 1/2
Oh the overconfidence of a mum who has smugly told her friends what a great eater her son is. Me, Iβm the mum.
Pancake expert here. The annual rush to harvest pancakes on a single day has extremely deleterious effects on the local pancake ecosystem. By all means pick a few pancakes for your own use, but please leave some on the bush so that it can recover in its own time.
The world is so much poorer for not having Jon Kudelka in it
This is sad news indeed. What a brilliant mind lost to a fucker of a disease.
It really was awesome!
And the world seems a lot harder to feel you can reassure someone about right now.
My son is half the age I was then, but itβs reminded me that the time will come in the not too distant future where his world will widen dramatically and he will need my support and reassurance.
Gosh, 40 years today since the Challenger disaster, followed not long afterward by Chernobyl. Two events that made me a lot more stressed about the bigger world out there beyond my primary school playground.
I read it over breakfast (Australia time) and have been telling folk at work about it all day!
I am extremely grateful for CCS subsidies and do not begrudge early childhood educators being paid what they are worth.
Like this is terrible and we shouldnβt be funding private schools BUT am I the only one thinking that $270 a day doesnβt seem that much more expensive than daycareβ¦
Same challenges with my work and we are healthcare! Just seemed to be something about last week with UK brewer chums and their pages. Thanks for the answer.
(And sorry, I actually meant to tag you in, not the main account!)
I have binge watched this series over the weekend and feel some feels about βwine mumsβ being the target audience - I am a βbeer mum.β
(Of course we will support them in any other way we can!)
This is heartbreaking for the local beer and wine producers. In particular we have visited Love Shack and Shed Shaker and drink their beers regularly - will miss buying them as easily in Melbourne whilst they recover.

Is anyone in the Aussie craft beer scene having issues with Facebook not promoting their pages due to their βbreaking rulesβ? Seems to be an issue for UK chums and just realised Iβve not had anything in my feed for a few days... @craftypint.com?
Itβs dropped almost 20c from late afternoon but might not open the windows tonight due to poor air quality from the fires.
He wants it the same blue they use to prevent people shooting up in toilets. We prefer a calming red. Nobody is calm right now.
The preschoolers Iβve encountered today have all been a bit feral due to the heatwave. Including my own son currently having a howler of a meltdown over the colour of the nightlight in his room.
