As interesting as this is - I wanna know what people’s grandmothers did for a living -

Paternal: worked for the same bank for 40 years rising from teller to VP of the branch (basically she ran it)

Maternal: entrepreneur of many pursuits including for a brief time in my childhood - gumball machines

I gave a ‘wassup’ nod one time to a trans guy at the gym and he didn’t react well, so I don’t do that anymore.
I could make a male loneliness joke here, but I think he was just stealth and I picked up on something I wasn’t supposed to.

When I see trans women working retail or service industry I give a simple compliment (earrings, clothes, makeup). And they get it without a full 👋🏳️‍⚧️⬇️
Conversely if I see another trans guy I completely ignore them like the invisible man they are.

It bothers me every time I hear someone talk about American soldiers dying.
They’ll say something like “6 soldiers. How many more?”
And I think “1000+ civilians. How many more?”
There is no one life that’s worth more than another life. Why do we value Americans more? We drop the bombs on them dammit

I don’t like US soldiers dying, but what’s really digging into my conscience is all the civilians that US military is killing. Every soldier knows this is a possibility when they sign up. These civilians are just trying to live in their homes, in their schools, in their countries. And we kill them

AI used for writing has this kinda hard to pin down but clearly nonhuman cadence and just feels so manufactured like living in a very plastic disposable world that I do not want to be a part of.

I do like that it takes questions better than google if I’m coding solo or trying to learn a new concept, but overall it’s not worth much.

It can be useful for coding in limited circumstances, like setting up a new project or troubleshooting but only with the understanding that it will be wrong a lot.
It’s mostly a scraper so sometimes faster than looking through stack overflow…
