spot on!
‘Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.’
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
At one of his frequent press conferences (because he loves being on TV), I'd love it if some reporter piped up with, "What do you say to people who call you a know-nothing narcissistic asshole, Mr. President?"
The chair of the European Parliament's trade committee said the American President has European legislation in his sights more than tariffs imposed by Europeans. The MEP is clear: European law is non-negotiable.

US President Donald Trump’s announcement of a new 20% tariff on the European Union drew a sharp rebuke from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Thursday slammed US President Donald Trump’s imposition of a 20 percent tariff on EU goods and vowed to retaliate. “There seems to be no order in the disorder,'' she said.

Starmer and Reeves stand over ‘a young woman on her deathbed’ (painted by an unknown Flemish master) who has a ‘fit for work’ tag around her neck. On the other side of the squalid room are feasting billionaires (Duke of Westminster, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Chris O’Shea, Viscount Rothermere, James Dyson, Gopi Hinduja) King Charles looks on and Michelle Mone is scurrying away with hold-all full of PPE money

Don’t know how you feel about Brad Sigmond being executed by firing squad in SC, but the report in THE GUARDIAN kinda glossed over the fact that he beat his gf’s parents to death.
Did it with a baseball bat. Darn gf broke up with him! How dare she?

‘Free world needs a new leader’: Europe defends Zelenskyy after Trump attack
www.politico.eu/article/volo...
It's been obvious since January 6 that he was an enemy of the USA, the UK & the whole of the free world. Everybody still in his camp understands this as completely as everybody against it. They just prioritise personal interest over the national & international. And they know it. They all know it.
Europe’s leaders are rallying to support Zelenskyy, after the White House blow-up between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Trump. Can Europe’s leaders salvage the situation when they meet Zelenskyy at a crisis summit in London tomorrow? Follow Euronews live updates here.

A state visit doesn't just mean that Trump comes to the UK for talks or whatever.
It means a literal parade in his honour.
It means a banquet with the royals.
It is one of the highest honours we have to give.
After what we saw yesterday, it must not be allowed to happen.
Wouldn’t it be lovely if the UK were part of some large multinational, political, cooperative, economically-linked, tariff-free union right now, instead of having to hope for a one-sided, gaslighting trade deal with a dishonourable orange toddler soiling themselves on live TV to please their owner?
