I found a 3/4 ton Quadrasteer Suburban (with the big block) in Spokane that was only a little more than the half ton I eventually bought, and I still wish I had bothered to go across the state to get it. (I still love my half ton, FWIW)

I walk everywhere, take the bus, etc. To have the extra hand and not have to stow the thing every time I go into a different place is clutch. It’s just easier. If you’re in the burbs and have a car to stash it in then I guess an umbrella would not be as much of a hassle?
