Worm your way to Wakefield Museum to meet our new not-so-little friend! ๐Ÿชฑ

This giant Worms costume has kindly been lent to us by Team17. We're celebrating 30 years of Worms!

The worm is on display with a Banana Bomb, Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, and of course, a Concrete Donkey. ๐Ÿชฑ๐ŸŽฎ

Museum display case featuring a costume and props from the computer game worms. The costume is the most striking part of the display. It is a pink, person-sized worm with thin black arms, large cartoonish eyes and a smiling mouth.

A museum panel that says '30 years of worms, a Wakefield game changer' There are silhouettes of computer games controllers and a floppy disk, and the Team 17 logo at the bottom of the panel.

Fair maids of February looking beautiful up in North Yorkshire today. It's still bitterly cold but always lovely to see them boldly ushering in the Spring #Snowdrops #Yorkshire

Definitely. My other half has been slightly obsessively tracking them in the next door wood using Merlin ๐Ÿ˜„ We've been hearing them for a few months, but seeing one in the garden though was amazing. Next on my bucket list is a firecrest ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿ”ฅ

Woohoooo! Saw my first one in the garden here in South Yorkshire about a month ago. Sooooo exciting!!! Also thought it was a wren initially. Definitely smaller though.

Divert all attention to these beautiful iconic historic postboxes that carry our precious letters helping to open up the world around us like nothing else. Happy #PostboxSaturday, everyone! (Thanks to Julie for the photo too!) ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ“ฎ๐Ÿ‘ˆ๐Ÿ”“โค๏ธ

Pushing a slightly too-full wheelbarrow up an icy plank onto a spoil heap (as a young archaeologist). Slipped on the ice, fell off the plank, scraped my face down the contents of the barrow as I went, and then dropped the barrow on my foot ๐Ÿคฆ Mortified.

Saw my first Charles III postbox (lamp type) in Castleford, West Yorks, just before Christmas. I was so excited I stopped the car to go back and have a proper look ๐Ÿ˜„ That's the only one I've seen so far though.

Nice Scottish pillar box for the first #PostboxSaturday of 2026. Ferry terminal in Brodick #IsleOfArran Don't know the date, as no royal cypher, but the casting says it was made by Machan Engineering Scotland. Nice little 'next collection' casting detail too @lbsg.org @letterappsoc.bsky.social

On Christmas Eve I'm thinking about the Barnsley Carol, written by Barnsley glass bottle maker Arthur Godfrey in 1933. Rediscovered by @barnsleymuseums.bsky.social in 2023 and now sung by people across the World. So proud to have been part of its journey barnsleymuseums.art.blog/2023/12/12/a...

Scrum V - Jonah Lomu at Cardiff - 20 years on - BBC Sounds Scrum V remember Jonah Lomu's debut for Cardiff 20 years ago.

In bed with a virus, but this has cheered up my afternoon. Sad in the circumstances, but a lovely chat about a legend of rugby union who changed the game, and perhaps unexpectedly made a massive impact in Wales too www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/... #JonahLomu @cardiffrugby.bsky.social #BBCSounds

Most likely. I'd love to see what was interpreted as a rib cage though. That feels quite unusual as paranormal photos go.

It's been a bumper harvest this year due to the UK's unusually hot dry summer. Usually don't get anything like this!

The rattling door/windows immediately made me wonder about subsidence from former mine workings. I talked to a lady a few years ago who had subsidence under her house in the 1980s in South Yorkshire. She described very similar things - windows and doors rattling and shaking.
