I legit think ‘being annoyed’ is a deeply undertheorized form of pleasure

It often feels like self-centered behaviour coded as niceness. Especially when they’re quick to anger after I reject their right-of-way.

Maddening. When this happens I give a palms up wtf gesture and wave them through. I treat this behavior like it is baffling and dangerous, and will literally turn my back on them and walk away rather than indulge them.
