I’ve got the most basic - the Mars 4. I finally took the plunge into resin printing about 5 months ago and it has been great.

The files for the figures are from Cults3d. Each download was about £2.50 and I printed them in resin on my Elegoo Mars. The diorama is filament printed.

Thank you! The terrain I’ve been using is an existing shape in Tinkercad, and easy to adapt.

I think I’m just about done with this one. Nice, simple setting for my Airfix Jeep and 3D printed paratroopers, with a little bit of implied narrative.

If I was doing a desert scene this would just about be done! Static grass tomorrow.

Small 3D printed diorama with Jeep and two WW2 paratroopers

Very happy with yesterday’s 3D filament print for my Jeep diorama. Outer frame now printing, alongside the latest version of the Comet wing tank on the resin printer.

Very nice.

New jeep diorama printed. Fine quality has reduced the obvious contours. Painting tomorrow.

Yes, I’ve previously just spread a thin layer of filler over the surface. That works really well. (youtu.be/PEn7crsgpF4?...)

First test print for the jeep diorama. Good general shape, but I think a few more boulders and then a finer print to minimise the contours.

Thermometer fitted to my Elegoo Mars. Very simple installation - small hole drilled in the top for the probe cable, which is taped to the inside of the cover near the resin tank.
