Soderqvist Jakob, what a machine!
Vlad van Mechelen is clearly getting closer to his top form in the Tour de RΓ©gion Wallonne. I'm still expecting him to grab his first pro victory this year.
I'm quite convinced that's incorrect. He was primarily disliked because of his "big-mouthing" and his 'manners', not so much for any of the reasons youβve mentioned.
Exactly. How does the fact that most of the audience in Paris is white have anything to do with the claim that the general cycling fanbase is "right-wing"? What kind of reasoning is that?
With Nys out of the picture, Iβm hoping for a more open race in Durbuy today. Last year, Uno-X executed a textbook strategy to set up Waerenskjold perfectly. Iβd love to see Ineos and UAE light up the race this time, but if I had to bet, Iβd say Movistar might come out on top tonight, as in 2024.
Voor vandaag wordt het dus al niks !
Wat kan ie niet !
Apologies.
Of course
Former professional cyclist Jurgen Van Goolen (44) was involved in a crash last month in Calpe, where he resides. The incident has left him in a coma ever since. www.hagelandactueel.be/aarschot/spo...
Good luck FC, hope it gets sorted out quickly.
Had fun today watching the Baloise Belgium Tour ITT in Tessenderlo. I was seriously impressed by Hayther beating Ganna here. These are my training roads, and the speeds here were mind-boggling
Pretty sure he found some extra watts in the finale today and was able to dig even deeper than usual because of Gino.

Strongest man in the race, even if Paul deserved it as well #DDHH
Yeah, disappointing π. Talked to him briefly after the race. He was gutted, too, as a Top 10 was a certainty.
Get well soon Gil. Looked worse for a moment.

Not too surprised to see Fred Wright make the T3 today, especially after how effortlessly he was turning that huge gear yesterday.
Race day in Heist! Iβm hoping the rain clears up by the afternoonβand it looks like it might. The start list this year is pretty strong. My pick for the win: Milan Fretin
Fatigue might indeed become an issue, as in an ideal scenario, he should gain some time bonus today as well.
I saw that. A bit too optimistic I reckon. I'd say maybe 10% chance rather ?
He might have half a minute of bonus, but I reckon he'll lose somewhere in between 30 seconds and a minute on the climb. That said, I do think he's a better climber than most people believeβespecially in a situation like this.
What are the odds that Fabio Christen wins GC in Slovenia?
Globalisation ! :D
Christen mentioned that Oliveira made contact with him, which is certainly possible, though it's not entirely clear from the footage. The examples in the chart are interestingβthough they seem to be a bit more impactful than what we witnessed today, in my opinion.
The rule is highly open to interpretation, mainly because of how the 'AND' is phrased. There's no clear logic: does it mean deviation is only punishable if it also endangers others? Or is any deviation automatically considered dangerous?
