57 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of students' right to protest the Vietnam War in our landmark case Tinker v. Des Moines.

The law is clear: Students don't hang up their free speech rights at the schoolhouse gate.

Way to go, Philadelphia! The city has introduced new legislation putting real limits on ICE activity. Federal agents will no longer be allowed to operate anonymously no masks, visible identification required, and arrests must be backed by warrants signed by a federal judge.

When Mamie Till was on the stand during the trial of her son's murderers in 1955, the defense argued she had misidentified her son's body, was lying in order to claim insurance money for her son, & had staged the whole affair with the aid of Communists & the NAACP. Tills murderers walked free.

National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation.

Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.
