Maybe it’s my camera but I was always taught to underexpose if I wasn’t in the best of lighting situations and knew I would have to fix exposure later. I’m going to start overexposuring SLIGHTLY because that seems easier to fix

That’s why it bothers me when people are like “we don’t have any black girls in film right now”… whole time there’s a whole community of black filmmakers begging for support.
I think when people worry so much about what white people are doing it’s actually them looking for white acceptance.
Me personally… I kinda don’t care to be honest. There are many white icons who I have no idea who they are. And some of the stuff they produce simply doesn’t interest me.
I feel like what matters is the support from our own community.
