'He's isn't Liz Truss, he isn't Boris Johnson, he isn't Jeremy Corbyn.'

@mrjamesob.bsky.social asks, ‘what’s the best thing you can say about Keir Starmer?’

This is the thing.
I used to look at Teslas and think, "Wow, there goes the future."

Now I look at them and think, "There goes some loser in a ridiculous swasticar."

As I said to a friend earlier this week doing that is a bit like trying to extract eggs from a cake you've just baked. #WhereToEvenBegin

What Trump and Vance have done here is galvanised support for Ukraine in Europe.

They both, yet again, have shown themselves to be small men.

Small, petty, weak men. This is how they will go down in history.

Slava Ukraini.

Unless something significant changes and this government pulls policies out of the bag to the benefit of the non-rich, we will have to witness Mr-beery-flatulence-made-flesh goose-stepping into Number 10. 😭

Starmer and Reeves asking UK regulators for ideas to boost economic growth

Is like Boris Johnson appointing Jacob Rees-Mogg as minister of Brexit opportunities

I guess this is Labour's turn at wasting time looking for the benefits of Brexit 🤷‍♂️

Lo and the train drama continues... Been sat on a train at Clapham junction for 4 hours, now headed back to Waterloo to try and get a different train home

I don't think the lady expected persistence and seemed as though she had already batted away several wtaf? requests to sit down lol

The lady relented straight away so Katie could sit down, but the backpack was massive so she then sat there with the laptop on top of this huge bag 🤣🤦‍♂️

Also, fuck first class into the sun. Roll on the day these services are brought back under direct government control and we can lobby for the abolishment of that archaic bollocks during busy periods/always!

If you're on a busy train and have your bag on a seat with your laptop on top, the answer to the question "is that seat taken?" should never be "no, but I've got work to do" 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤦‍♂️ What is wrong with you people..?

On the surface I am in favour of it; after all, we afford our pets the dignity of a quick and painless demise when the worst happens and a condition is unrecoverable and yet we force our parents/friends/loved ones & oftentimes children(!) to endure the most awful suffering because of what..?

1 of 2: The stuff about business and tech companies (the clacks) in Going Postal novel is more relevant now than it was in 2003 when it was published. As is the stuff about inclusion amongst different types of beings.

It’s a remarkably prescient book, given it's 20 years old.

Most campaigns are asking the gov't to spend money. RoSPA is essentially pleading with gov't "please, let us save you money". Preventable accidents cause misery to thousands of families, cost the UK economy a whopping £12 billion a year, and put pressure on the NHS.

Listen and spread the word.
