IF its training prioritized factual accuracy and helping people rehumanize and connect, it could provide social benefit.
Instead it's trained to provide a facsimile of truthiness as it attempts to addict users to prefer using it over using their own minds and/or collaborating with others.
So, no.

I loved her in Escape From New York - an all-star cast and a deliciously cheesy plot.

Polio paralyzed kids when I was in grade school and meningitis killed them when I was a teenager. Cervical cancer is a horrible disease that I saw in medical school and internship but few people get it now because of Pap smears and herpes vaccinations. Somehow, Middle East wars remain incurable.

40,000 year old Aurignacian artifacts carry complex, intentional sign sequences that are comparable in statistical complexity to early proto-cuneiform writing, which wasn't developed for another 35,000 years! π§ͺ

I hope Farage has revealed himself as the fraud he is. We canβt afford for two of these conmen to be in charge.

I utterly disagree that life is going on as normal over here. Every part of our society is under constant attack from within. We are being divided as a nation and half or more of us are being cast as traitors. No expectation of sympathy, but this is truly awful to experience.

A beautiful grey striped cat named Tessie stretches out in a planting tray on a greenhouse bench. Behind her is a tray of tomato seedlings 2-3 inches tall.
A tray of tomato seedlings sown by me and Tessie on February 2. Nearly 100% germination, and most already on their first set of mature leaves. We have San Marzano, Bada Bing red cherry, and Yellow Grape tomatoes to look forward to in a few months!
π±Outside, the snow has been steadily melting for the last 2 days although we still have a glacier by the front door and the Christmas tree we put outside last month has only just begun to emerge from under 3 feet of snowplow rubble. Inside, we have big tomato seedlings! Spring coming soon!
