Great quote!
Ooh, that sounds good. Saw their video about it earlier.
This evening’s beers are two @thornbridge.bsky.social Union beers, collaborations with @oakhamales.bsky.social and Theakston. Both of them are just as good as you’d expect!
That was really good. I do love a Red IPA.
Following @thornbridge.bsky.social Jaipur on my visit to @thecolmoretap.bsky.social was a lovely Red IPA brewed with @womeninbeer.bsky.social and the sublime Market Porter. Also took a couple of bottles of Union beers away - the collabs with Theakstons and @oakhamales.bsky.social.
Productive visit!
I’m in Birmingham (another University visit with my daughter) and naturally I’ve found the time to pop in to @thecolmoretap.bsky.social for some @thornbridge.bsky.social greatness! There’s only ever one place to start - Jaipur!
It’s beer at the cinema time again, and I’ve brought along this brown ale from @sirencraftbrew.bsky.social (as well as appropriate glassware). It’s a gorgeous beer. I love Brown Ales and this one really ticks all the boxes.
Last night I took a little detour from my evening’s activities to visit The Jackalope. I had a lovely cask Dark Mild from @timothytaylors.bsky.social.
Last night I had a couple of fantastic @elusivebrewing.com beers, one of them a collaboration with @tomstapandbrew.bsky.social.
Nice quote!

Well, I had to go to Hop Stop and give in to the hype of PuTTTY, the 10% TIPA version of @verdantbrew.bsky.social Putty. I’m not in to TIPAs, but did enjoy this.
Much more in my wheelhouse was the other beer I had, a West Coast DIPA from Norway’s Salikatt Brewery. Woah!! What a beer.
Chiswick? Yeah, many years ago.
Yesterday I picked these up from Clapton Craft. First, an awesome Westie from @trackbrewingco.bsky.social, following on from their recent great collabs with Canadian breweries. Then an interesting, and tasty Raspberry and Blackberry Pale from @queerbrewing.bsky.social collabing with Conjurer.
No worries. I didn’t think you were being judgmental anyway! It was definitely too sweet, though 🤣
Nutella and ricotta cheese. It’s also not as big as it looks, although it fed two of us and there was still enough to bring home!
Horses for courses
They do! Pizzas too.
And ricotta. Was between two of us and we still took a quarter of it home for the kids!
Try it. Very nice. A bit too sweet though, although there was also ricotta inside to temper that a little.
What? The Nutella calzone?
A trip into South West London today yielded a trip to Sambrooks for a couple of lovely beers and a share of a gorgeous Nutella filled calzone!
I picked up these two at The Cage last night from their impressive fridge selection. The beers are from Garage Brewery and Toppling Goliath, and were both fantastic.
A couple of beers at Hop Stop from @verdantbrew.bsky.social and Beak Brewery, before one from Pilgrim at The Cage. Then back to Hop Stop for a Anspach & Hobday London Black.

With the next episode out tomorrow, I’ve been busy getting another one recorded, with Rory and John from Pilgrim Brewery.
Whilst recording I had two gorgeous beers - Longhorn and Templar. This one’s due out in March.
A half of a @hammertonbrew.bsky.social Walk West for the road in House of Hammerton.
Another visit to The Pocket, with a gorgeous red ale from @fyneales.bsky.social, an amazing pale from @kernelbrewery.bsky.social, @cloudwaterbrew.bsky.social’s lovely 11th Birthday special (HB to Paul and the gang!), and a cracking Howling Hops Dark Mild.
Hi Art. I’m in the UK. These are beers produced by a British brewery, named after the 70s computer game. If you love IPAs, you’d love these. Great West Coast style IPAs. Cheers 🍻
