Romulus could have been... should have been amazing... I think, as with any character, can be, with the right writer and right story... but yeah, overall... nah.

I don't consider myself an idiot, but... I would have never seen that in Sandman... I get that this guy "was right" but at the same time, he's talking to us like we should be on his level, and many of us are not. Even savvy media consumers just aren't going to perceive what he's seeing.
I'm glad I can cover smaller RPGs for my clients.
But, man, sometimes the numbers I get on those articles make justifying that coverage very difficult.
It's the "... belt." that makes it amazing.

I think everyone misses the point of this book.
A. It's a story. It's meant to tell you how something or someone got from point A to point Z. Not to make you like someone
B. You don't have to have sympathy, but having the empathy to understand how people choose monsters or become them is important
The book is cold? They would not have survived the Craig Kyle & Chris Yost X-Force... Do they know the book is X-Force and not X-Babies, or My Little Ponies: Friendship is Magic?
Reading the stories of yesteryear, and sometimes you're reminded just how ig'nant folks likely acted when Iron Man 169 dropped. I always remembered Rhodey being Iron Man during the first Secret Wars because Tony was lost in the sauce. But I slick forgot how long he was Iron Man. #Comics 🧵
