about 30 people were arrested at whipple this morning for unlawful assembly, and many first hand reports say hennepin county sheriff's office were escalating. people were arrested when they were retreating, and people were knocked down by law enforcement

State and local police attacked civilians Sunday during a protest at the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in Minnesota. The building has served as the headquarters for ICE in the region. Police repeatedly charged into the peaceful crowd.

Hennepin County Sheriff’s then began to escalate tensions. This was disrespectful to our community, our culture, and our ancestors.

Well that was fucking weird. Big protest at the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building. Multiple arrests with state troopers talking shit to protestors. There was also a contingent of conservation officers that looked like absolute shit bags.
Can’t see much but a protest at north ft snelling park and ride has been kettled and people are being arrested. Hennepin Sheriff has blocked the street and won’t let people through.
