For what it’s worth, I’d lay odds that when Trump said this morning that there were going to be American casualties, that meant there already were American casualties & he knew it. This was his way of getting out in front of the news he was going to hold on to until later.

What struck me in Bolton’s comment was saying the mistake being made today was leaving it up to the Iranians to overthrow the government and then saying the only mistake in Iraq was not just giving the Iraqis a copy of The Federalist Papers & leaving them to sort it out.
