Things aren't nearly as bad in instanced content, but the issues of stacking and overlapping effects remain.
Really, just pull up a random youtube video of a GW2 raid next to an FFXIV raid; looking at them together, one stands out as way easier and more pleasant to watch.

To be precise, it's the amount of overlapping and flashy visual effects, the way players are strictly encouraged to stack on top of each other, and the sheer number of players that can be present at world events at once. Put all together, footage of a world boss is incomprehensible.

For all the complaints people have about it, Gyala Delve is such a beautiful map.

Ele isn’t as hard as people make it out to be, a lot of that sentiment is from people who haven’t played it in years.
The new eSpec in VoE also adds the ability to make viable builds that only run one element, which strips a lot of complexity.
So fucking upset…. My buddy went for the beef. Didn’t make the jump. Don’t know when I’ll see him again. Fuck this fucking civilization man
