I don't know if the coral reefs will ever come back over the timescale of 200 years but what I'm fighting for is for our great grandchildren to have a habitable Earth, one where there are no wars fought over water / food / energy but rather life is returning to peace, prosperity & democracy.
This reminds me that the flight against climate change is largely to save human populations not nature.
Climate catastrophe is a disaster for democracy, for human health & our way of life. It makes us 30% poorer every 25 years.
Nature will suffer but will potentially stabilise over many centuries.
