Doesn't usually affect me. Early morning meeting didn't help

I was disappointed because I just finished playing the Silent Hill2 remake, and the choices they made were... Interesting.
It's a shame, the content is already there, they just need to properly adapt it

Halfway through whistle, and silent Hill was very very bad

What is this game?! I still have to feed myself, I'm constantly hungry.
I'm constantly carrying too much.
I was arrested for not carrying a light at night and chose to serve hard time: a day in jail.
But I can't ... Stop... Playing it...

May I suggest the Edmonton Oilers.
Connor McDavid represented Team Canada, Leon Draisaitl represented Germany, together with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Zach Hyman, Mattias Ekholm and more are a fun watch, and represent Canadian Values (minus Stan Bowman. He must have been cheap)

Badge of honor!
I got blocked by my first Conservative today after commenting that "Libertarians" were actually authoritarian, if Danielle Smith is any indicator.
Am I missing something?

And over in Alberta we are seeing exactly what's "Libertarian" actually means.
It's authoritarian. Just a different word

These are great charts. Especially the one that shows the up/down nature of revenue and the continuous rise of expenditures.

Let me get this straight.
So we put a ton of money into the heritage fund while not funding education and health care properly, forcing teachers back to work with a garbage deal, and now we need to borrow 40 BILLION dollars? Isn't that what the savings are for? Did we make adjustments to royalties?

Strong news for Canada’s economy πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
Foreign investment has surged to its highest level since 2007, a clear sign that global investors see Canada as a stable, competitive place to grow and do business.

I have always believed in sharing facts, and then people can make up their own minds. I realize some minds are already decided on issues regardless of any information that is shared, but that should not silence sharing accurate information.

We have people in our community today who are feeling the consequences of the blame game.

The Gov of AB spent $10 million on the Alberta is Calling campaign. In addition, the goverment asked for more immigration to the province to address labour shortages, but we did not plan for all the people moving here from within Canada and internationally. We had leadership suggest AB needs to grow to 10 million people by 2050 and RD was challenged to grow to 1 million (Oct 31,2023).

Fun fact…many businesses in town have accessed workers through the Gov of AB Rural Renewal Stream. This is an Alberta specific program where employers are able to hire international workers. You can google that program to learn more. We have many accessing the temporary foreign worker program, including area farmers who rely every year on this program.

First chart…AB immigration. Net international migration to Alberta totalled 197 in Q3 2025, down 99% from 32,046 in the same quarter a year prior.

Second photo …a letter to PM Trudeau from Premier Smith, requesting immigration levels to AB be increased after learning the federal government was cutting immigration levels.

Third photo… illustrates that AB has enjoyed the highest royalty revenue per capita since Lougheed and Klein years..chart courtesy of Prof Andrew Leach.

It is clear the province is facing a significant budget deficit. That is not a secret. In my opinion though, we need to be honest about facing our ongoing budget problems, rather than laying the blame on people who were urged to come here. Blaming a specific group of people will not address our financial situation.

Regardless of status, immigrants pay federal and provincial taxes just like the rest of us. They may begin their life here as Temporary Foreign Workers, but they are contributors to our local community, many choosing to call Innisfail home. They are our friends and neighbours. They buy homes, open businesses, work in many sectors in town, and make our community better for all by giving back in spades!

AB has been facing workforce challenges for years, but the Alberta is Calling campaign brought Canadians from other provinces here. This migration was not due to job opportunties, rather driven by a pursuit of affordable homes. Of course this population growth would add significant pressures to schools and healthcare. What else could the outcome possibly have been?

Idk who needs to hear this, but if your government requires your dead name or assigned gender at birth on your documents it has nothing to do with you detransitioning or who you are as a person.

It doesn't change you, it just makes your government wrong.

But RE7 really changed the game for me and was the first RE I actually finished!

Agreed. The remakes of RE2 was amazing. I prefer it over RE4/remake. I'm waiting for the RE1 remake so I can finally play through RE (practically couldn't make it past the first zombie, and I'm a terrible shot)
