One of my friends put this together after I shared a picture of me in the 10th grade (and they didn’t know me then). I’m on our left, then the great Robert Smith from The Cure and Siouxsie Sioux from Siouxsie and the Banshees. I’m in good company!

Yesterday, before flying back from MInnesota back to Washington after Xmas celebrations with my family, I was sitting in a diner in St. Paul listening to Prince playing overhead. Then in the airport security line, a MN senator was in front of me. Dang MN you gave me all the feels for my send-off. 🩷

Didn’t think we’d be able to celebrate the holidays together as a family this year and it was soul crushing. Alas, we are coming home to Minneapolis for a weekend and I can’t wait. Negative temperatures or not?

It’s crazy. The water by the bridge to get off and on Camano is creeping up and it’s nerve wracking.

Also, can people not expect me to actually work the day before Thanksgiving. 😆

Every night, I say my “prayers” which aren’t really prayers but I go through my list of what I’m grateful for. Just to acknowledge it.

I feel like my mom made us boycott Nestle in the 70’s because they sold their formula to third world countries and the water in those countries was not of good quality so a lot of infants were getting sick. This is my recollection so it may be off but that’s how I remember it.

Can I get this in a yard sign so my MAGA neighbor across the street has to see it everyday like I have to see his dumb Trump flag (that I give the finger to every time I come out my front door)?
