Our manual website is back up, sorry for the downtime! We are investigating what automation might help us catch issues like this more quickly.
At least one of our devs also has a self-hosted Zulip instance and has found it easy to deploy. It's much less pretty and fun than other chat software, but it gets the job done. Also the Zulip developer community has been friendly and open to adding features that make it more fun for casual use
We know, sorry! There is some problem with the web host that we are trying to solve
Calling all radio DJs! Though Mixxx was not originally designed for radio, there are a lot of you out there and we want to make Mixxx better. We have a project to improve Fader Start support, but we need your help! Please help us better understand your needs:

A bit of cross-promotion posted recently -- Mixxx switched to @zulip.bsky.social for our user and developer discussions and we've never regretted it. More open and flexible than Discord or Slack, we encourage projects of all sizes to switch over: mixxx.org/news/2025-11...
With the right open licensing and rights policies, this is the kind of digital music service we could imagine supporting directly in Mixxx...

Accessibility is an area Mixxx has struggled with for a long time, and as an all-volunteer project we have struggled to recruit devs to address it. If you have a passion for accessibility and are interested in a chance to have a big impact, hit us up.
There is ongoing work to create an open library that can write rekordbox USB sticks. It's still early days but if it's successful it would give DJs an alternative.
