Pornhub is absolutely in the right here. They are blocking states who require this because they don't want to be responsible for your PI data! They do not NEED that info to provide their service, so collecting and maintaining it is inherently privacy violating!

“Think of the children” is both historically and presently a fascist rallying cry that invokes the symbolic figure of the Child (an abled, white, cisheteronormative ideal that only truly exists in fantasy) at the cost of everyone, children and adults alike.

Obviously trans people are the targets of anti-trans bills and many cis people see collateral cis damage of these bills as worse than our suffering, but our reaction to cis people relating can be a chance to build solidarity instead of show disdain. Seeing our struggles as inextricable is good.
