Daniel’s Power2 Rediscover Programme Lead met with him every week and helped him to navigate the bullying he was experiencing through one-to-one sessions.
Together they created a personal development plan with steps he could take to build his self-esteem.

At our 2024 North West graduation ceremony, Daniel, 14, gave an emotional speech about how his life changed when he moved from the United Arab Emirates to the UK.

Of the children and young people supported on our Teens and Toddlers programme, 84% improved their confidence and 80% improved their communication skills.
Alanna, a former participant, said, “I’ve built up better relationships and I’m more confident in communicating with people."
With the guidance of our mentors, they begin to rebuild their confidence, relationships and find hope for the future.
