Always remember Reform UK is the rebranded successor to The Brexit Party, led by Nigel Farage.
This anti-patriotic shower wish to make UK citizens poorer and more isolated. They took away our freedom to work, play or retire throughout Europe and took away our only non-FPTP representatives.

Better to reduce Hinkley to rubble, re-open the coastal path & use the rubble to create a barrage stretching right across the river Severn. It'd tame the 2nd highest tide, encourage marine life & recreational activity plus joining up Wales and England all the time producing clean tidal electricity.

The country must be England as it has only 10% forest cover and shrinking due to mass immigration and concreting-over/building to cope. Once this happens it is fairly irreversible.
Meanwhile across the EU as a whole, forests cover around 39 % of total land area.

Before Brexit, the UK had the opportunity — through its Commissioner and its voting power in the Council — to help shape EU policy affecting around ~508 million people.
After BREXIT Conservative & Labour BREXIT parties have failed to bring prosperity to the original ~67M now grown to ~70M.

Fishermen & Farmers are not better off (exports down 40%) - our whole mini-union is not better off. They took back control of trade & traded less, they took back control of immigration and it grew exponentially….our export businesses got buried in red tape.

Voter-rejected ex-MP Liam Fox waltzed off all over the world to get post BREXIT trade deals & now we don’t trade more outside the EU, we trade less.

Is the UK really leading the world with a nuclear renaissance?
Prof Steve Thomas, Greenwich University, assesses the latest efforts of the UK government to expand nuclear power – and highlights numerous obstacles. Responsible Science blog, 16 February 2026.
"The estimated cost of Sizewell at £40.5bn (2024 money) is 70% more than the real estimated cost of HPC at the point of its FID. This makes a mockery of claims that Sizewell would be cheaper than Hinkley because of the ‘learning’ that has accumulated at HPC."

Starmer Is Toast
But The Dark Forces That Brought Him To Power Are As Strong As Ever
Johnson (of BREXIT disaster fame) was not just a serial liar, but even managed the astonishing feat of turning a lifetime of clowning around into a leadership qualification. He was the ultimate bread-and-circuses politician.

If Reform win, the govt will be tempted to revert to pre-Blair balanced migration with a big win for UK climate policy & less damage to ecology & wildlife.
If the Greens win, the reverse could happen with rich property developers trashing more green spaces and GHG emissions increasing.

Better still no one person ruling four countries. Let's have a council of equals, ministers from each region like the Swiss have.

What kind of prime minister would Wes Streeting be?
To some he is a tall poppy in need of cutting down. To others he’s the future. Allies, former staff and friends reveal what he might be like in No 10
"He has repeatedly pressed for closer ties with Brussels, arguing that Labour must make the case for “the closest possible relationship with the EU’s single market and customs union” to protect business and promote growth"

A modern UK with the Victorian-era population could potentially exploit resources more efficiently, reduce waste, and be even more “successful” than today, since lower density would make logistics, housing & resource use easier.

UK climate campaigners face a dilemma as English Greens are not making reduction to zero of Greenhouse emissions the priority whereas Reform/BREXIT have taken on renewable energy as the new enemy replacing fellow Europeans might inadvertently achieve lower result for UK Greenhouse gas emissions.
