What prompted the judge's warning about no AI facial recognition glasses in the social media addiction jury trial courtroom?

Someone told plaintiff's lawyer Mark Lanier's team they were concerned Mark Zuckerberg's bodyguards were wearing facial recognition glasses.

The judge of course did not say what prompted her to say this, but I 100% promise you she did not just think of this on her own and decide to announce it in court.

Someone had to have complained to her about this.

The judge said absolutely no AI glasses with facial recognition can be worn in the courtroom.

If anyone has already used them to record jurors, “you must delete it or you will be held in contempt of court.”

Defense lawyer Nico LaHood got a little worked up in his cross-exam of a Texas ranger lieutenant today in the Uvalde school shooting trial and acknowledged it by saying "sustained" before the judge did here.

A Texas-style non-objection:

"He can lead all he wants, because I'm going to take care of it after a while."

The defense lawyers definitely talk more than the witnesses in cross, and no one seems to mind.
