honestly kamala was never the politiian to put on the front of a presidential run in our current climate. she's very...unexciting candidate, and that is not a bad thing, but it was not the right campaign at the right time
yeah, like i voted for kamala, but i didnt feel particularly motivated or inspired to do so, the only motivation i had to vote for her was i didnt want trump back. look at how much lower turnout was, and was entirely the reason trump won, kamala didnt lose votes so much as people just didnt show up
oh definitely, its not about gender, its about hillary and kamala both being objectively not great candidates who ran objectively bad campaigns that did nothing to inspire voters in swing states where it was needed for them to turn out and vote. they got safe votes, in droves, but inspired no one
coming off of obama, of all people. the fact that she wasnt able to carry obamas trajectory and lost every swing state to someone who was running "as a joke" in 2016 is uh....she did not do herself any favors on her campaign trail
