That’s the question. My guess: the legislative, executive and judicial branches need to agree but I don’t know by what process they would even be queried. Post civil war historians would know much more than me.

I agree it was despicable. I agree we all saw it. I agree it should have been disqualified 45 from holding office. I don’t think it meets the same bar for insurrection as the South seceding from the Union and waging war, which was the genesis of the 14th amendment.

You and I might reasonably consider Trump’s actions in January 2020 as insurrection. Others disagree. Further, Trump did not explicitly declare an insurrection and did not explicitly create an insurrectionist movement. So, in court, the 14th amendment argument is probably a loser.

Hmmm… I wonder. Estate owners who want to pass the estate they’ve worked for 40+ years to their children now face the prospect of needing to sell the estate to someone so that taxes can be paid. Who is the someone? Why is this good for the country?

Again. Elon wants all the worship and all the money. Climate change is real and somewhat profitable for Tesla, but population stagnation is real and a danger to every corner of his empire.

Everything Elon says is in the service of making himself richer and/or more powerful. Any time, money, and energy society spends addressing homeless issues, is time money and energy not given to, or spent in worship of, Elon. The solution is simple. Convince people that there are no homeless.

All of them. Each and every one of them. Now would be the best time.
