In Shovel Knight King of Cards, the devs designed some autoscroller sections to only trigger when you landed on the first few platforms. If you could manage to skip those platforms you just got to play the level normally.

I think about that design choice a lot.

Riverside Dr. in Memphis was a 5 lane road that split the MS river greens pace from Downtown with few safe places to cross.

The city converted it to 2 lanes + protected crossing & parking adjacent to the miles of the river...

Yeah, I’m disappointed we lost Konchar for sentimental reasons and the city is losing a great ambassador in JJJ, but I’m okay with it for basketball reasons (and also because it happens before season ticket renewals)
