Ginger, shittake, orange peels, mustard cabbage and anise are the main taste memories I have. Root vegetables are very important for oxtail! Hope it turns out marvelous, keep me updated.

This recipe sounds really close to the oxtail soup I had often as a kid and I loved it. Its Vietnamese style, but I didn't know it at the time. My mom made it, hard telling where she got the recipe as she doesn't even remember making it now.
