The traditional branch Twixtmas social tomorrow, starts at the Robin Hood and Little John, Lion Road Bexley heath at noon for lunch and a pint. Then who knows but we will be finishing at the Broken Drum to empty the last casks before they sadly close.

I had one for years that I brought back from Antwerp in 1990, wife managed to break it about 5 years ago. Happens to all my rare glasses - like my 1970's Guinness Triple X that was the only item broken in a house move.
We had a social planned for Wednesday (26th) but this is now cancelled as Peter's funeral is the following day. The social may still appear on some websites and social media, please let us know if you spot it.
Very drinkable, has more body than you'd expect. The cherry version is a bit odd though, to me anyway.

We now have a WhatsApp group to keep attendees of pub crawls updated during events, letting the group know if a good pub / rare ale is found, and hopefully avoid missing the coach home! Anyone wishing to be added should ask at the event.
Both of these are likely to be quite sombre following the passing of branch's longest standing member Peter Trout at the weekend.
Bexley branch upcoming events - tonight we have a social, meeting at the Royal Oak Northumberland Heath, although not sure we'll stay there very long. May well move on to nearby well known hostelries or even into Bexleyheath. On Saturday is our Festival Staff trip to Brighton.
