I did these all while listening to @ologies.bsky.social - the second part of the quilting episode, the entomology episode, the trains episode, and both salugenology episodes (fittingly).

An ironing board with a pile of quilt blocks on top of it. They are heart-shaped, in bright purple and pink colours.
Got all my blocks sewn together today! There's 33 here, going to finish sewing the top tomorrow. Then the sandwich and binding - might be a bit ambitious to do all in one day, but we'll see! #quiltsky

Not so much an interview as an article about the ethics of interviewing. If Jason Lee thinks you've come to talk about his cook camera shop, is it mean to spring questions about Scientology on him? (Via @longreads.com)

Hahaha. Ahh... no. "Buying fabric" is as much of the hobby as "making it into something" is.
hah, they look great! I imagine painting minis is relaxing in the same way sewing is - you can get lost in it for ages, and have to pay attention so the mind can't wander too much?
That sounds great though! I love the aesthetics of 40K (machine gods and chaos shit from the void? yes please) but never managed to get into the actual gameplay of it. Does the wild west project have minis to paint too?
It's for someone, so there is a hard deadline (their birthday). I know exactly what you mean though - luckily I like the very last part of doing a quilt (binding the edges). If I didn't, I doubt I'd have ever finished one

The first 6 hours of quilting looks so unimpressive π

Late for the #BlueSkyArtShow today. My submission for the #Round prompt is my #isopod painting from a few years ago. They can curl into little balls! #art

Friendly reminder that pilots are NOT permitted in the dog park, regardless of how they are designated by their Handler. This is a LEASH LAW issue, people!!!!!!
It's no exaggeration to say that this, the news that stinkbug eggs look exactly like a hape of creamy pints, is one of the most impactful things that's ever happened in the history of Irish posting. A dazzling event. A nuclear level revelation.
