It was a weird trade market. I believe things also changed with the new NHL playoff salary cap in effect, with the loophole out.
Yeah a few weeks ago we had a 4th line with Paul, Bjornstram, and either James or Goncalzes I believe. Now it’s a total wasteland down in those spots. I think our forwards don’t have enough gas in the tank later in games with this. We may have to trade for some extra depth.
Douglas became expendable after the reality that the Bolts won’t be seeing the Florida Panthers until next season. Hopefully he clears waivers.
