Console early access lifts very early in the morning. PC streaming embargo doesn't lift until midnight on Friday. That's why i'm opting to stream the PS5 version first because I certainly CANNOT WAIT to play a new RE game and see Leon do Judgment Hatchet. I'll 100% it on PC!

He had nothing to do with Castlevania other than producing it. Other people were involved with writing and directing. But even that went pretty liberal with CV lore... lol.
And I dont think gans cares about the series at all othrt than using it to make money lol. Otherwise he'd put more care into the characters he supposedly cared about.

Something CAN be good and still be a horrible adaptation. Books > movies get this a lot. But it's uncommon in general.
An adaptation is when you take something and adapt it to a new medium. Sometimes it involves making changes that are *necessary* to fit the new medium.
Adapting does not mean changing every single little thing about the source material.
