He has now dragged us into an illegal war that has already cost us precious lives and billions of dollars.

The Trump Administration has failed on all accounts. 

Trump launched an illegal war, and Congress has the power to end it. We must do so today. I urge every one of my colleagues in the House to vote YES on the bipartisan War Powers Resolution this afternoon.

Our service members deserve to know why they’re being sent into war – with a clear strategy, plan, and end goal. 

The American people deserve to know why billions of their taxpayer dollars are being used to fight a foreign war that is costing American lives.

Heartbroken for the families and loved ones of the service members who were killed in the Middle East over the weekend, including Sergeant First Class Nicole Amor from Minnesota.

Under Secretary Noem, ICE has violated our constitutional rights and defied court orders. Two of my constituents are dead.

Secretary Noem just admitted there are still 650 ICE agents in Minnesota, still outnumbering sworn Minneapolis police officers.

ICE must get out now.

Sen. Klobuchar: Two of my constituents, Alex Pretti and Renee Good, were killed. They should be alive today. When you look at the three fatalities in Minneapolis that were a result of shooting, two of three were committed by federal agents. Are you aware of that?

A federal judge has ruled yet again that DHS may not obstruct members of Congress from conducting oversight of DHS facilities. It is our legal right and fundamental duty to perform on behalf of the American people.

We're going to keep fighting for transparency, accountability, and the rule of law.

Despite the Trump administration’s unlawful attempts to block Members of Congress from conducting oversight, a federal court just affirmed in Neguse et al. v. ICE et al. — ONCE AGAIN — our clear right to conduct unannounced oversight visits.

We will keep fighting to ensure the rule of law prevails.

Incredibly grateful to our brave military members and praying for all of their safety.

Six United States service members have now been killed in the operations in Iran.

My heart breaks for their families and loved ones, and I'm thinking about all of the service members who have been put in harm's way.

Speaker Johnson must call us back immediately to vote on the War Powers Resolution, and the Trump Administration must come before Congress and the American people to explain its rationale, the national security objective, and the long term plan to avoid another forever war.

The Iranian regime has supported terrorism in the region, brutally oppressed its people, and violated human rights. That doesn’t mean the President of the United States is exempt from adhering to our Constitution and the rule of law.

When qualified doctors and nurses decide to take their life-saving skills abroad because of a manufactured crises and unaddressed concerns, we are all far less safe and less healthy.

Hundreds of American nurses choose Canada over the U.S. under Trump More than 1,000 American nurses have successfully applied for licensure in British Columbia since April, a massive increase over prior years.

Since April, more than 1,000 U.S.trained nurses have applied and been approved to work in Canada.

Over the last year, we have seen RFK Jr. and the Trump Administration attack access to care, vaccines, science, and the medical profession as a whole.

Small businesses have been suffering since Donald Trump started his tariff war. It is time for the President to provide relief to the businesses in our communities that his policies have harmed.

Donald Trump's illegal tariffs are a tax on the consumer and an existential threat to our small businesses. That's why I introduced the Small Business RELIEF Act, which would require the Trump Administration to provide tariff refunds to the small businesses who were forced to pay them.

So I'm demanding answers.

Taxpayer dollars are funding this facility, and Minnesotans deserve to know if ICE is following basic legal and humanitarian standards.

When I conducted oversight of the Whipple ICE detention facility in Minneapolis, I was stunned by the unwillingness or inability of federal agents to answer some of the most basic questions about their operations and protocols.

But their refusal to answer isn't a free pass from accountability.

This is Casey Means, Donald Trump’s nominee for Surgeon General, pushing dangerous claims about birth control. Fearmongering and misinformation cost lives. As an OB-GYN for 20 years, I am very concerned about the damage her nomination could do to women's health. The Senate must block her nomination.

As a physician, I'm horrified by their continued assault on our hospitals, physicians, and patients. They already made the single largest cut to health care in our nation's history last year, and they continue to rip care and coverage away at every turn.
