An odd ball to throw in: Laws of Human Nature by Rob Greene. I find the stories unique and interesting whilst also learning about the complexities of human nature. Not sure if itβs to the exact brief but hope it helps.

Donβt get me wrong, the 5 in 4 days is a lot, very heavy but Iβve made it work and so grateful to my work for allowing me to trial this before putting the formal request in.
I recently started condensed hours meaning I work 5 days in 4 so that I can have Fri-Sun non-work days. Honestly would recommend it so much, being able to have that extra day has made such a massive difference on my mental health actually enjoying the time off and switching off from Work.
Donated blood for the first time today and it made me feel really good. Iβm hoping to continue doing it as much as I can. Iβm proud of myself.
From left to right: a pencil with black pips etched into it for using as pencil die, a wire-bound notebook opened to a single page, showing a level of the game, a bookmark at an angle partially covered by the notebook, some text and a logo. The text says "Pencil Book Quest: A pencil & paper dungeon crawler. 1 player, 5-10 minutes, 14+". The logo is an arrow that has been altered to also look like a pencil.

Unfortunately Iβm in the disappointed camp. Was underwhelmed. Perhaps I was expecting too much though. Iβve heard polarising views so recommend watching and reporting back? :)
28 years laterβ¦ horror in the morning with my cup of coffee π
Nothing better than being sat in the cinema at 10:30am alone, surrounded by others who have also attended alone. βΊοΈ so many of us! Love it.
The June board game #raffle in aid of UK food banks is still going. Prizes are review copies of Katmai and Death Valley: Highs & Lows, both played but in great condition, and a brand new copy of Pilfering Pandas. Please share far and wide and enter here: tabletopgamesblog.com/raffle #charity #prizes
Roll player? π
First 2-player game of Sakana Stack by @huffnomore.bsky.social and absolutely love it, very strategic when to play your high volume cards and when to pass. So glad this one got 2 player rules (which work great!)
It was the first place we went to and there was already queues quite long π glad you got everything though. Bus and stop sold out I heard.
For a second I thought I was looking into my bag, good choices have been made πͺπ»ππ»π
Our hotel for UKGE was very expensive this year, I looked at the same hotel, same room for next year and itβs over Β£150 cheaper because I booked now ahead of the show this week (on booking.com with free cancellation and pay at the hotel next year when we arrive) highly recommend if you can.
The packaging makes these so professional (not that they werenβt before), great touch, very classy π₯° Iβm in need of a new dice tray so Iβll make a visit
The new Saashi game: The great evening Banquet whilst youβre there for Bus & Stop π
This little fellow isnβt a bigot, he loves everyone π₯°β€οΈ
Still doing research ahead of #UKGE had lots of items to look through on the preview list. Last 10-15 items to look up, home stretch.
Spreadsheets for all Halls for #UKGE are now done (much to Laura's relief! )

Perfect Sunday morning, a book, my best friend and even some muted Tennis on the tv π₯°
Not sure if youβve heard of the Shop and drop points at UKGE, itβs my go to, allows you to drop things in and pick stuff up throughout the day to save carrying everything all the time. I believe thereβs three at this years events in various halls. π (I think it used to be Β£3 per day)
72 titles Iβm interested in checking out at this years Expo, some of which Iβve already pre-ordered (Luz) others I own (Bus & Stop)

Oh wow, Iβve never tried this game looks really fun!
I need one of these badges ππ»π
Do you find some games are a little cramped? Or generally all okay? I would love a larger table but would need a plan for where it would go as the current game room is long and narrow.
110cm by 150cm. Comfortably sits four but struggle to get some games to this table due to the space needed, for example could only get a 3p game of Grand Austria Hotel on the table a fourth player wouldnβt fit.
Haha, I used to put it off all the time and it would eat me up, but I only had myself to blame because i didnβt let them know so how could I expect them to do anything different. Good luck! Honestly itβll work out πͺπ»ππ»
Great write up. Whilst they donβt have hall one for exhibitors it will be used as ticket desks and bring and buy which frees up more space in the other halls which is great! If I see you Iβll try to say hello. ππΌββοΈ
I would try to be honest with this person, perhaps when you have some 1 on 1 time with them just mention that the games they bring arenβt something you enjoy playing, perhaps they could bring them less frequently as a compromise as they might love these games. I think itβs all about communication π
