We are proud to congratulate our PhD student, Mie Mai Corneliussen, on successfully completing her PhD Part A exam on cable bacteria and biogeochemistry.

Our postdoc, @martasu.bsky.social, will, in her MSCA project, study the symbiotic relationship between cable bacteria and seagrasses, exploring how these microbes may improve plant health, mitigate toxic sulphides and support growth under nitrogen limitation via Nโ fixation. ๐ฑ๐ฌ

Last week, Prof. @larspeternielsen.bsky.social was the opening speaker at the 20th Congress of the Argentinian Microbiological Society in Puerto Madryn, Patagonia๐
