nope, that's just where we host it, it should be everywhere you get your podcasts
Episode 3 of @yoyopodcast.bsky.social has the show settling into its groove, an instant classic Andy deep dive and top notch production (chilling silence to end the ep) m.soundcloud.com/youre-on-you...
The @yoyopodcast.bsky.social podcast rules. You just never know what theyβre gonna talk about, but itβs hosted by two great storytellers so itβs always good.
AP Obit in the Philly Inky: William Ray Lucas, 102, NASA official during challenger explosion. William Ray Lucas, who led the NASA facility that shouldered much of the blame for the 1986 explosion of the space shuttle Challenger has died. Mr. Lucas was 102.
listening to the new @yoyopodcast.bsky.social on the challenger while reading through todayβs inquirer and
New episode here. This oneβs about the guys who tried to stop the Challenger explosion the night before. on.soundcloud.com/3RBo8BKfeqPS...
Take 2 while I listened.
This was a tough one because I don't feel like I Get Mad (on a personal level, anyway) very often but I am coming to realize that it's more like I rarely recognize an emotion as being anger in the first place, which, it turns out, is not the same thing.
@yoyopodcast.bsky.social loved your beautiful episode on anger. Hugs to you both
And I just dropped some @yoyopodcast.bsky.social knowledge on my wife about apologies to help deal with her dad
emotions wheel image.
can tell iβm gonna have to relisten to this @yoyopodcast.bsky.social when Iβm not about to go to a dinner party, but I promise many listeners who relate can make good use of this #doingTheWork
Home with family for the holidays and thinking about the @yoyopodcast.bsky.social episode about anger for no particular reason
@yoyopodcast.bsky.social You lovable chumps really hammered home one of the worst parts (for me) of trying to cure yourself of the anger issues that your upbringing WOVE into your goddamned fabric: realizing the fucking INDIGNITY of the anger. What a fucking dope they made you. And here you are.
Not sure if this was the goal for the new pod but if you were trying to create an opposing model to combat toxic masculinity, this is a good place to start
I came to hear these two bozos dunk on people but instead had some sort of helpful catharsis??
This shit kinda caught me off guard with how sincere and earnest it was. These fellas are great and I don't hold their life choices against them (lawyers).
I started with their last episode, on anger, and it completely blindsided me by how real it was from the jump lmao. It was so good, I have a whole thread or essay it made me wanna write
This is excellent and a balm for anyone who may be going through it over the holidays
The premise of the show is basically that two smart, funny and compassionate men articulate things you already know but sometimes need to hear from someone else. By turns sobering, reassuring and deeply moving. Hard recommend all four episodes so far. (This is the second; the numbering is chaotic.)
As something of an angry fucker living in his own proverbial 6x6 windowless room, it's hard to express how badly I needed to hear this, really started tearing up towards the end.
The only podcast ep ive ever had to pause and come back to when I was actually paying attention.
This was excellent and meant a lot to me. Very relatable stuff wrt being raised by angry parents.
Tarik's bit about feeling like your entire emotional life has been spent in a windowless 6'x6' room hit incredibly close to home.
corny for a podcast episode to help you understand something about yourself that youβve never quite understood but yeah
I don't know how to express how much I like this podcast without resorting to what sounds like NYT bestseller cover quotes, it's really refreshing hearing something this earnest and open. It gave me a real "I didn't know how much I needed this" moment.
This sent shockwaves through me and reached parts of me that Iβve been hiding from for way too long
