Regardless of the number of #F1 overtakes, people complain about them. #AusGP had "too many back-and-forth overtakes". Previously we had "too many DRS-aided overtakes". Simultaneously, #MonacoGP has "not enough overtakes". You can't ask for more passing, then complain about all of what is offered.

Correction: it's hexavalent chromium

Drivers can get a government funded Hazmat carwash but by now many have washed their own cars in their own driveways.

If 2026 F1 cars turn out to be boring, you can always tune into F2, where teammates crashed, the safety car picked up the wrong guy and gave someone else the lead, but he sped in the pits to lose it anyway, and the racing is so wide open and unpredictable you can't look away.

Stroll did 3 laps in FP1, none at racing pace (30s off the best times) and then quit. Later in practice they announced he wouldn't be back because of a power unit failure. Forget fears of not finishing the race, what are the odds they can even put up a 107% lap in quali? #F1

I've had instruments where I've celebrated the end of the manufacturer warranty period so I could rip them open and actually fix them right.

15 teams, but they can only attend 20 of 30 scheduled races and they get to do a draft mid-February (after testing) to see where they go each year.

Message from IT: "Microsoft has released a new app called Files to search, open, and share all* your files"

*Only shows Microsoft files

Like, what's the point? I already have utilities to search, open, and share all my files without your limitations.

Like, I prefer jeans over sweats, but for sports/workouts or swimming I'm definitely using something more appropriate. There's no way you could get me to do a blue-jean clad cold plunge.

This is the best speech, just from a pure rhetoric perspective - its sophistication and persuasiveness - that I've seen a politician deliver in a good long while. Really recommend watching or reading the whole thing.

Canada should lead by denouncing action in Venezuela, lest we be next. Rhetoric like "drug exporting" and "51st state", with our critical minerals and oil deposits so close to the USA means this could happen here too.
