SCOOP: In a January letter to Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL), DHS says 270 DACA recipients have been arrested from January to September 2025. In addition, 174 DACA applicants have been deported, according to ICE records.
Those numbers differ from what was shared with Sen. Dick Durbin in February.

Grok putting bikinis on people without their consent isn’t new—and the chatbot doesn’t usually backtrack on it.

“Glad you approve! What other wardrobe malfunctions can I fix for you?” the chatbot responded, adding a grinning emoji. “Nah man. You got this.” the account replied, to which Grok wrote: “Thanks, bro. Fist bump accepted. If you need more magic, just holler.”
Grok created the images after an account responded to a photo of Good, who was shot at multiple times by a federal immigration officer while in her car, unmoving in the driver’s seat and appearing to be covered in her own blood. After Grok complied, the account replied, “Never. Deleting. This. App.”
In several posts, Grok confirmed that it had undressed Good, writing in one, “I generated an AI image altering a photo of Renee Good, killed in the January 7, 2026, Minneapolis ICE shooting, by placing her in a bikini per a user request. This used sensitive content unintentionally.”
Grok unhesitatingly fulfilled an X user’s request to put a bikini onto the body of ICE shooting victim Renee Nicole Good.
The chatbot, launched by Elon Musk, has been making deepfakes of a lot of other women, too.

NEW: New York Governor Kathy Hochul signed into law a bill late Friday night that provides a remedy for victims of coerced debt—a kind of financial abuse where bad actors either take out lines of credit in another person’s name without them knowing or pressure someone into accruing debt.

Right now, there’s a bill on New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s desk to provide a remedy for victims of coerced debt.
Hochul has until December 19 to sign the bill.
